סיפור על שני סנאים"
ביקשתי מתומר רוזן גרייס לראות את הספרים שכתבה ובחרתי עבור אביגיל נכדתי את הספר על טונסי ומירלי - סיפור על שני סנאים שכן אביגיל היא חובבת סנאים משכבר. וכעת בביקור שלי אביגיל מבקשת מידי ערב שאספר לה את הסיפור.
הסיפור ארוך (מאד).. ומורכב בעצם מכמה סיפורים קצרים אבל גולה לא מוותרת על אף חלק וכך יוצא שאנחנו מבלות לנו בצחוק ובחדווה בקירבה וברוך כל ערב

קיבלתי 8 ספרים שהזמנתי ממך. נהניתי מכל אחד ואחד מהם. גם מהציורים המקסימים שמלווים את הטקסט.
יש בסיפורים כל כך הרבה הבנה ורגישות לדקויות שבנפשו של הפעוט/ה. הם קולעים בדיוק למה שמעסיק אותו/ה. טבע, חברות, קשרים, קנאה, תחרות, הצלחה, כישלון, טעויות, שינה, ביישנות ועוד. הכל בצורה זורמת, טבעית, מענינת ומשכנעת, בלי דרמות מיותרות. זה מאפשר לילד/ה להזדהות ולהרגיש את מה שקורה בסיפור. הנכדה הפעוטה שלי בת ה-3 הייתה מרותקת לסיפורים וביקשה לשמוע שוב, או בלשונה ״עוד פעם״.
התרגשתי מאד מהסיפור על טונסי ומירלי. אני קוראת בו שוב ושוב. מחכה לסיפורים נוספים שתוציאי.
אני מוכנה לקבל מחמאות בכל שפה... :-)

On "The Purple Gnome's Journey":
This very unique story was so captivating as a tale of friendship through gnomes of different colors who lived in separate beautifully colored worlds. Only thing is they were isolated, until a brave gnome decided to do something about that. The theme was how one gnome who felt lonely on his island took matters into his own hands by finding other gnome friends, and a special friend from the moon. The journey by boat to magical colored worlds, to gather all the gnomes together, was beautifully painted and inspiring. It tells the tale of the importance of reaching out to others and trusting to develop deep friendships and love. The relatable gnomes are in their simplicity and vibrant colors, endearing. The illustrations were mesmerizing! Language carried the day as well with such phrases like: white sea of the moon. I loved this book and would highly recommend it!! 5 stars indeed!

On "The Heron and the Cow":
This children's book is about an unlikely friendship between a cow and a heron. It's a very gentle, nature-based book that can hold a little one's attention. We loved the peaceful artwork and the sweet story. My little daughter was giggling with anticipation for the heron to sit on the cow's back. I'm so glad I came across this treasure of a book!
